Pricing

Most development shops make you sit through a sales call before they will tell you a number. We publish ours.

Every price below is a real starting point in Canadian dollars. You get a fixed quote in writing before any work begins, and nothing lands on an invoice that you have not already approved.

Websites

Marketing sites that load fast, work on a phone, and turn visitors into enquiries. Built from scratch, hosted and maintained by us, and yours to keep.

Launch

From $1,200

1–2 weeks

A fast, professional site that tells people who you are and gets them to reach out.

  • Up to 5 pages, designed around your business — not a template
  • Built mobile-first, where most of your visitors already are
  • Contact or quote form delivered straight to your inbox
  • Domain, hosting, SSL, and email routing set up for you
  • Search and Google Business basics so you turn up locally
  • Two rounds of revisions before launch

Best for: New businesses, sole practitioners, and anyone replacing a social page or a site that has aged badly.

Business

From $2,800

3–4 weeks

A larger site with the depth to rank, and the layout to sell more than one thing.

  • Everything in Launch
  • Up to 12 pages, including a page per service or location
  • Project gallery, product catalogue, or team and case-study pages
  • Custom design work — typography, motion, and photography direction
  • Deeper local SEO: structured data, metadata, and per-page targeting
  • Analytics and form-conversion tracking, set up and explained
  • A simple way to edit your own text and images after launch

Best for: Established businesses with several services, locations, or product lines to present properly.

Storefront & Booking

From $4,500

4–6 weeks

When the site has to take money or fill a calendar, not just generate a phone call.

  • Everything in Business
  • Online payments through Stripe, with receipts and payouts configured
  • Product catalogue with variants, inventory, and shipping — or an online booking calendar
  • Customer accounts, order history, and automated confirmation emails
  • Tax and shipping rules set up for how you actually operate
  • Staff walkthrough so your team can run it without calling us

Best for: Shops, studios, clinics, restaurants, and service businesses that sell or schedule online.

Not sure which one fits? Most small business sites land between $1,200 and $3,500. Tell us what you need and we will point you at the smallest option that does the job.

Web Applications

When you need software rather than a website — databases, user accounts, business logic, and integrations. This is enterprise-grade engineering, priced accordingly.

Most projects land here

Web Application

From $9,000

6–12 weeks

Software with a database behind it — accounts, real data, permissions, and logic that has to be right.

  • Discovery and technical scoping before a line of code is written
  • User accounts, roles, and permissions built to survive an audit
  • A data model designed for the features coming after the first release
  • Dashboards, reporting, and admin tooling your team can actually use
  • Payments, subscriptions, and third-party integrations
  • Automated tests, CI/CD, monitoring, and error tracking
  • Cloud infrastructure provisioned and documented — you own all of it

Best for: Founders validating an MVP, and businesses replacing the spreadsheet or manual process the company currently runs on.

Product Partner

From $3,500 / month

Rolling, 3-month minimum

Senior engineering capacity on retainer, without the cost or commitment of a full-time hire.

  • A reserved, agreed block of engineering days each month
  • Ongoing feature development against your roadmap
  • Architecture reviews, code review, and technical direction for your team
  • Performance, security, and cloud-cost work as the product grows
  • Direct access — Slack, email, or phone, no ticket queue
  • Scale up or down with 30 days notice

Best for: Teams shipping continuously, or a funded startup that needs senior depth before it can justify a salaried engineer.

Application work varies too much for a single number, so we scope before we quote. Most builds land between $9,000 and $35,000 — you will have a firm figure before you commit to anything.

Care Plans

A website is not furniture. It needs hosting, renewals, security updates, and someone to change the phone number when it changes. One monthly price covers all of it.

Essentials

$39 / month

$390 / year — two months free

Your site stays online, current, and secure. You never get a bill from a hosting company.

  • Hosting, SSL, and CDN — all included, no separate accounts
  • Domain renewal handled so it never lapses
  • Uptime monitoring with alerts to us, not to you
  • Security patches and dependency updates
  • Weekly backups with one-click restore
  • One small content change a month (hours, photos, phone, copy)

Standard

$99 / month

$990 / year — two months free

Everything above, plus real time each month to keep the site moving.

  • Everything in Essentials
  • Up to 2 hours of changes a month — new sections, photos, copy, fixes
  • Seasonal and promotional updates as your business changes
  • Quarterly report on traffic, search rankings, and form submissions
  • Performance and Core Web Vitals kept in the green
  • Two-business-day response time

Priority

$249 / month

$2,490 / year — two months free

For businesses where the site is a sales channel and downtime costs money.

  • Everything in Standard
  • Up to 6 hours of changes a month, including new pages and features
  • Same-business-day response, with emergency phone access
  • Ongoing SEO and conversion work, not just maintenance
  • Quarterly planning call to decide what to build next
  • Application and database support available — ask for a quote

Care plans are optional. If you would rather host the site yourself, we will hand over the code and the accounts at launch and wish you well — no penalty, no strings.

Why We Publish Our Prices

Hidden pricing exists so the quote can be adjusted once the shop works out what you can afford. We would rather you knew the number before you picked up the phone.

The number on this page is the number in the quote

No discovery-call markup, no pricing that moves depending on how big your company looks. The starting prices here are the same ones every client gets.

Fixed price, agreed before we start

You approve a written scope and a fixed price. If the work lands under estimate you pay the agreed price, and we don't bill you for our own learning curve.

Scope changes are priced before they happen

Want something added mid-project? You get the cost and the schedule impact in writing, and you decide. Nothing appears on an invoice you have not already approved.

You own everything, including the exit

The code, the domain, the hosting account, the analytics. If you ever leave, it all transfers to you — no hostage-taking, no rebuild required.

How You Get a Quote

Four steps, no discovery fee, and a written price before anything is committed.

1

A 20-minute call

You explain the business and what you need. No slide deck, no discovery fee, no pressure — and if the honest answer is that a $1,200 site is all you need, that is what we will tell you.

2

A written proposal in 2 business days

A fixed price, a scope of exactly what is included, and a delivery date. One page, plain English, free.

3

Deposit and a start date

Approve the proposal, pay the deposit, and your build slot is booked. You get a schedule with the dates you will see things.

4

Build, review, launch

You see progress on a live preview link throughout — not a big reveal at the end. Revisions happen as we go, and nothing launches until you have signed off.

Payment Terms

Stated up front, so there is nothing to negotiate later.

Websites

50% deposit to book your build slot and start work, 50% on launch day. Most sites are paid in two invoices, a few weeks apart.

Applications

30% to start, then milestone payments against agreed deliverables. You always know what the next invoice is and what it buys.

Care plans

Monthly or annual, charged automatically. Cancel any time with 30 days notice — no lock-in and no cancellation fee.

The fine print

Invoices are net 15. Prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude applicable taxes; clients outside Canada are quoted in USD. Third-party costs you would pay anyway — a domain, a paid Stripe or email plan — are billed at cost with no markup.
